'Beirut Dragscene' is an ongoing project, started in 2017, about the blossoming of the Drag Scene in Beirut.
It is the story of four young Lebanese people, Sasha, Elias, Andrea and Firas, expressing their identity in a country, where homosexuality is technically illegal.
"The Drag Scene is what I do from time to time, but transgender is who I am. To me drag is an art. I like to create a persona that relates to what I am going through at the time in my life," Sasha, 21 year old, transgender, model and activist of LGBTQ rights in Lebanon.
