MOMENTUM (2018)
Through sport 24-year-old Fatemeh challenges the social norms for women in the Iranian society. As a child she was elite gymnast, but she couldn’t participate in international competitions due to the Iranian low saying that women have to cover their hair in public spaces. As a result she felt forced to stop gymnastics. But in university a friend introduced her to the street sport parkour, which gives Fatemeh something else than gymnastics – the freedom to move her body in her own way.
